Why isn’t this called 『Enter The Dirtbag』?
Wow I live pretty close to that Heshers place and saw the sticker outside that bar’s window not long ago. Wild to hear it mentioned on the pod lol, gotta try ‘em.
The “Seinfeld Bass Slap” of videogames is Mujo’s theme from Bomberman: Jetters
Also this episode was great fun. Always fun to have Tim back. Good editing on this one too!
Someone even asked a Ristar question who probably wasn’t me! What a time to be alive.
TheFragranceOfDarkCoffee holy crap I was unaware of this Bomberman jetters track. They really went for it!

Brandon is absolutely correct, the graphics in DokeV are too good.
Also thank you for making me do a double take when you said the name of that game because it made me finally realize what it’s a play on words of
Ya wanna talk about time dilation, I’ve been listening to this Mario-charas-as-cabinet-members question for what feels like nine days
gsk I had just finished listening to the part of In Praise of Walking by Shane O’Mara where he talks about human perceptions of time, right before delving into that section of the podcast. That sure was a trip, let me tell you.
gsk Laughed out loud
OK I have just started this episode even though I can get it One Day Early. I’m strapping myself in. @Jaffe , you’re a maniac! I love it!
Edit: @esper you maniac, you found all those jingles! I love it!
My original premise for this episode was for us to do EVERY question in the Dirtbag, but I was afraid of what that would do to Frank
I must say that it gave me some cheeky happiness to hear the cast react positively to my question. Validation, direct through my headphones straight in to my brain!
Great episode, all. Happy 200!
We had a public / bank holiday yesterday and I saw that Jaffe’d tweeted about this shortly after I’d started a six-mile walk around a local park + lake. Perfect listening, and I had a lot of people give me weird looks as I tried to hold in my laughter across the episode.
frank powering through the questions was very funny
was revisiting some early post-hiatus episodes and could hear him saying “consensus…consensus…CONSENSUS” with the same energy lol
If I ever submit a dirtbag question, it’ll be directed at Frank, and it’ll be: “Name all the things you’d rather be doing than recording this podcast.” I bet he could go for the full six minutes!
I have enjoyed all the rotating panelist episodes but dang I have missed Tim so much
wow! i have a few in there under various names, and some that might be me but i don’t remember well enough to be certain!
very much enjoyed the answer to the scifi canon question!
