TracyDMcGrath I wish I could just get Nintendo to take my money for this.
I had been thinking it might be Travis from No More Heroes for a bit, but after NMH3 launched way earlier than the last reveal, I decided it’s probably not.
In all seriousness, I suspect it’s a Metroid Dread character. But at the same time, I wonder if the fact that it’s the very last character, period, might make them do something a little wilder.
And by wilder, my real prediction is that it’s going to be a hanafuda deck, or a Color TV Game, or a Wild Gunman (1974 version).
But again, seriously: I sure do wish it was someone or something genuinely surprising, but I don’t know for sure Nintendo has it in the tank.
(Also: wow, all the speculation everywhere, and the micro examination of every little thing Sakurai posts or says surrounding this game has been BONKERS. What I really hope for is that the poor guy can take a year’s vacation on an island completely cut off from the Internet, because how crap, how does he deal with all this?)
