hello everybody, I do not think I have posted on this forum in like a year lol. I miss you all dearly, and hope I can find time to once again join the community here :)
I wanted to come post coz I went to a BST event this morning, and one person in particular had an absolutely insane table.
everything was in absolute pristine condition; the story I guess is he bought somebody’s collection. We spoke for a bit and um… I may have worked out a deal to get that copy of Trouble Shooter ^_^
he’s a slightly younger guy, so his nostalgia is pokemon and N64. I told him I may have some CIB pokemon stuff back at my parents’ place, and he agreed he would do a trade. Thing is, when I took a breather to look up the value of my pokemon stuff, it’s about $200 more than his asking price on Trouble Shooter.
so… assuming I can even find my pokemon games when I visit home for Christmas, I may have some additional leverage to ask for more in the trade.
The question is… what should I ask for? I only want Trouble Shooter, so one option would just be to get the most expensive games possible to resell.
other option would be to ask the community here… does anybody here see an opportunity to grab something they want? I can try to work out a deal with this guy and in turn pass that deal onto someone on this forum. I’m (hopefully) sitting on a $500 pokemon game that he wants, so best case is I can take advantage of this situation and make the best of it :)
