I was thinking of throwing this in the manga thread but I figured the audience here might be more suited for this.

I remember killing time before my shift at work at the local Japanese bookstore flipping through Famitsu and Dreamcast magazines when this caught my eye over in the manga section. Needless to say I immediately picked it up as I was super stoked for Eternal Arcadia! I managed to make it back and find the next volume of Magazine Z that had the second chapter but after that, they either sold out or they stopped carrying them and I missed the rest.
I have been hoping they would have collected it in a tankoubon or even a doujin at some point but I guess it never did.
Some others have posted scans online but it seems like Kenji Hiruta (who worked on the game) did the legwork of tracking down all the various rights holders (Japan you really need to figure out this production committee “ownership” thing…) and getting permission to collect the chapters and release them all online! Very cool, considering the only reason he took this up was due to his own love of the series and fans.
While he hasn’t been able to indicate when it will release, aside from next year, he does mention a possible english translation as well at some point.
Just an all around feel good story. Can’t wait!
P.S. I almost forgot and am editing this in: The art for the manga was done by Hoshi Itsuki who did the original character designs for the game. Very rare that the original artist actually draws the manga serialization.
