whatsarobot I wouldn’t say Persona is a JoJo ripoff but the personas themselves are basically stands! (JoJo has this thing where the characters summon a companion spirit with special abilities). But yeah, there are a lot of games influenced by it, from Resident Evil to Yakuza, Guilty Gear, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Ace Attorney, Touhou, the list is endless. If you like One Piece style of comedy and sense of humour (which by the way I also think borrow a bit from Araki!) there’s a good chance you’re gonna like JoJo.
