Jaffe Sounds like people like the “Review a game you’ve all played” segment!
I like the segment, and I feel pretty certain you’ve already anticipated this and worked out a solution already, but I’d like to ask–does/will the method of choosing games to feature in the segment allow Tim room to, let’s say, approach providing games to do on the segment strategically, with regards to the games potentially being the subjects (or not) of upcoming ACTION BUTTON videos?
Obviously those games, whatever they may be, are discussed or mentioned on the podcast all the time incidentally without him having to make a Patreon post about whether it will or will not be reviewed on ACTION BUTTON, but something about the segment specifically being a review, as bite-sized, off-the-cuff, and collaborative as it is, could potentially invite that kind of speculation that is annoying to Tim as well as anyone who ends up having to perceive it.
Or MAYBE, for all I know, ACTION BUTTON SEASON 2 EPISODE 2 is gonna be Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and it will be released on November 22nd, 2022, which will be from thenceforth recognized as Sonic 2sday 2, and Tim was playing 2×2D chess and knows every mention he makes of any game in a public space will be scrutinized like this, so in fact this was one of Tim’s classic uses of double (2) misdirection (by which I mean to say it’s possible to infer any damn thing from any damn other thing so maybe I’m being generous towards Twitter Inferencers in thinking there is a way to prevent this).
