Let me tell you something about my lil rubber nubs

These lil rubber nubs, I’ve been seeing them a lot since the nintendo switch came out, but never even so much as touched a pair of rubber nubs myself.
Lemme tell ya, after using these ones that came with my clear 8bitdo, they complete the controller. It’s all that was missing. Now it feels that much more like a playstation controller, with the big fat thumbsticks, only better. It feels much more precise and, idunno the words (just woke up), but much easier to use overall.
I like them so much that I ordered a pair for Nintendo Switch joycons as well. Why the joysticks this generation are bald and require caps to feel normal, idunno, I think every controller should come with these, they probably cost two cents to produce.
I also, in a major way, find them preferable to the old ways because it makes me worry less about grinding down the texture off a vintage controller like gamecube thumb sticks.
Anyways, sorry y’alls but I’m now even more obsessed with this controller now that I have a clear black one.
A major downside is that it’s really tough to take this controller apart. I gave up after getting most of the way there, it feels like it could be very easy to break, and I kind of went through a journey just to get this controller (first order was lost in the mail, and I had to pick it up from the UPS store)
Why would I try to take it apart? well since the controller is clear, the light piping is totally irrelevant, so I wanted to customize my controlling by shoving some dimming sheets up in there inside the shell, strategically. I use the turbo function a lot and the subtle effect from the home key is now three bright, eye-searing lights. This may look cool to most people but I think it’s cool to customize too.
Anyways I can’t get enough of this controller and am using it feverishly to play everything.
