Apparently Pikmin 4 was lost.
I wonder if we’re not getting the whole story, like, is this a cover up? Is the Pikmin 4 team incompetent?
Battery charging fires are very common though. Any time the charge controller can malfunction and overcharge/discharge the battery, causing a fire. My father’s van melted inside out from a battery he was charging a couple years ago.
Anyways, Pikmin 4? At least it wasn’t something else. Pikmin 1 & 2 were great, but I don’t like where the series went after that… Though I haven’t played through Pikmin 3 yet… I was turned off by the tutorialization and characters.
In my opinion, Pikmin has always been a secret extension of 2D Zelda gameplay. It was like playing an HD birds-eye view Zelda game in 2001. I say HD because those graphics were really good, haha.
I could see Pikmin 4 being really good though, my cynicism aside. Guess it doesn’t matter now !
