Anonymous asks: when was the last time Konami did anything interesting? (33:51)
Hey, I’m not trying to stan Konami over here, but they did recently do that GetsuFumaDen, which is exactly interesting – it’s very interesting looking, it’s interesting that they chose to just put out a GetsuFumaDen of all things in the year of our lord 2022 (2021 in early access?), and it’s probably more interesting to play than it is “good” (I think it’s fun, though). They also put Princess Tomato in that newish Bomberman, which is interesting to me specifically
Brandon Sheffield asks: What are some good action games that aren’t too hard? (51:31)
Bayonetta 2 on easy mode is a good one if you like Bayonetta, which I know some people do not. But you can really just enjoy the spectacle and strangeness without any sort of struggle on that mode, while still feeling like you’re providing feedback. Also most people will disagree with me (again) but I think Resident Evil 6 on easy mode is a pretty frictionless big idiot action movie of a thing. The overly complicated UI weighs it down, but that aside, it’s just however many hours you want of the game giving you arrows that point you in the direction of where to go shoot more monsters and watch dumb things happen. Really, you’re not going to have much pushback from RE5 onward playing on easy, which I enjoy
(also, @esper , I love the gameplay footage & chapter selections on the YouTube upload, that’s-a so nice)
