Yeah, I had a really good time yesterday! We walked around the Japan Day parade and fair for a few hours with @LoBFCanti ’s girlfriend, then he and I went to Xenozero and spent around two hours playing the card game he’s been working on, which I thought was really cool! It had an inebriated-musicians-engaging-in-drunken-combat theme with a cool art direction judging from the cards with finished art, and also some pretty deep positional mechanics. Some of you who are card game aficionados should contact him about helping play test it! He’s been working on it for a few years, so I had a lot of fun listening to him describe the whole process of making it, how much it’s changed, the reasoning for various decisions, etc.

I don’t have any deep wisdom. I just check the websites for all the bus companies I know of and pick the ones that are cheapest. I rode a different company in than I rode out. Prices might on average be lower on the DC to New York route because of more bus volume, but I remember the year I lived in Boston I got the (mythical? I’m not sure how common they actually are) $1 megabus tickets you see advertised on the side of all their busses for a trip to see my friend in Philadelphia, and I only booked about a week in advance for that one. A lot of it probably just comes down to either luck or booking ahead.
