Yeah, Minnesota is great. I think it has a funny reputation, because people on the coasts often think it’s the same thing as Iowa and people from rural Iowa think of it like it’s New York City.

In the last two months I’ve started attending the local LA/OC pinball tournament scene. There are events like every week(end) or two and any one of them could be good for a meet up, but I dont want to spam events and I usually only get like 4 days notice when/where things are happening.

I’m putting out a feeler for organizing a meetup adjacent to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo.

I’d like to do a meet and greet at the event just to say hi, as well as an “after hours” kinda thing. I genuinely don’t know how folks are feeling about going to a bar these days, but in the past I’ve helped facilitate informal no-host hangouts with internet communities and they have always been lots of fun.

First, is anyone even interested in an after hours event, and do you have a preference or requirement about it being on October the 14th (Friday) or the 15th (Saturday)?
