drove past a guy rockin a sonic t shirt so I hit the horn for him a few times, probably overdid it and just seemed to startle him. The single most insanely cruel incident of childhood bullying I witnessed had to do with a kid wearing sonic shoes to school, so I was genuinely glad to see an out and proud sonic guy IRL. When I see vg shirts in the wild it tends to be zelda. Occasionally a mass effect n7 hoodie but I get the impression those are salvation army purchases and don’t indicate the wearer is a gamer.

First up, the ol’ Sonic "Two"esday classic along with a Dreamcast Shirt I picked up at Gameworks

The Windwaker shirt was a Nintendo “mission” shirt from Pax, the LTTP one was the one Target shirt I couldn’t not pick up…

I also really liked the Squenix FF15 pixel shirts they were giving away as well. I didn’t fight the lines to get them so only got the free one from the Panel. I kind of regret it, as they are all pretty neat.

Splatoon. One of the better Uniqlo designs IMO (I think it was one of the fan submitted ones, go figure?) and on the right, the KoG shirt from their first run. (Which also happened to be their only XXL run. Probably the most expensive shirt I’ve ever bought but at the same time, probably the nicest quality t-shirts I’ve ever owned as well.)

I once found a “that game company” shirt at a thrift store in Portland, OR for like $10. I gave it to a buddy, but it was a nice light blue and pretty simple. Turns out it’s pretty hard to ddg a picture of it, too.

This is my only video game shirt. My brother in law gave it to me years ago. I occasionally clear out my drawers and dump like 25 t shirts everytime but this one has survived several purges.

I definitely wanted one of these King of Games t-shirts from Japan back in 2004 during that first (or was that second?) wave of NES nostalgia. I could never justify paying like $100 to get one through a deputy service though.

I DID get one of these Mother 3 t-shirts though. Here I am wearing it in a webcam shot from 2006 that I still have on my hard drive for some reason. Don’t know what happened to t-shirt itself though.
