whatsarobot today, for her afternoon snack, my daughter wanted a donut. i said, “what kind of donut?” she said, “plain.” so, i started singing “plain doooonuuuuut” to the tune of Daytona. i had more fun at snack time than my seven year old daughter.
穴 I don’t have a mirror in my room thus when I want to see how an outfit looks on me and I don’t want to go to the mirror in my bathroom I plug an xbox 360 kinect to my pc (cause i also don’t have webcam) and use some kinect dev tools preview image thing projected into my tv just to know how I look
billy 穴 this reminds me of the person with no clock in their bedroom who tells the time in the middle of the night by pulling out a trombone, playing it loudly and waiting for the neighbours to shout “What the hell are you doing? It’s 3.15am!”
穴 billy I’m looking at a trombone that’s literally less than 2 meters away from me while typing this…
treefroggy I grow sprouts in a net pot inside of an R2-D2 popcorn bucket with a circa 2000 power puff girls plate on top Used to use jars but I can make more this way.
wexx treefroggy dang I need to get back on my sprout game. What are those? I usually just stuck to basics like alfalfa and mung bean 😱
whatsarobot over the weekend, i found my three year-old son watching SpongeBob SquarePants, which i guess he had never seen before. he didn’t know what it was, but must have enjoyed it. later that day he asked me if he could watch more “Cheeseboy.”
Toph I don’t know if this is the right place for this but it came to me in a flash while decorating and I had to do it. My printer started running out of ink but I think it gives it character.
exodus Just remembered the time I was, as a child of 9 or 10, describing the cocteau twins to an adult as “two sisters who mix english with nonsense. There’s one who sings high and one who sings low, and I like the high singer better.” It my mom and her friend, and the guy didn’t want to play the tape after my description but then did for a while. he didn’t like how the lyrics were nonsense and thought the music was too raucus (lol). man can you imagine going like “there’s too much rock and roll in this” to the cocteau twins
Karasu exodus that guy’s take is the wildest Cocteau Twins take I think I have ever heard! And I have heard lots of very wild Cocteau Twins takes!
captain I have Thief pinned to the far right of my taskbar, and sometimes I accidentally click it instead of whatever program is open (and which is automatically appended to the end of the taskbar). But I haven’t bothered to put something else there because Thief only takes a fraction of a second to open and to close—faster than everything else I have pinned to the taskbar with the exception of Windows Calculator (which is only as fast as Thief)
BluntForceMummy Whenever I pass this sign, I think about how foolish it was for Oregon to think it could take on Korea all by itself.
yeso did a home visit for a 89 year old granny who lives alone what caught my eye on her coffee table ? thats right you guessed it: a CD of Hüsker Dü’s Candy Apple Gray. She does not know how it got there and has been using it as a coaster. This js quite a mystery
