Uniqlo brought back the Mega Man shirt design i have. as part of some 20th anniversary tshirt revival. which means I bought mine 20 years ago? soon it’ll be nothing but hip replacements for me.

i know, Uniqlo sucks. but it sucked less (to me) all those years ago.
when i saw those shirts on the rack today, i felt as if a small part of me had been put on display for all and sundry to mock me with.
(i frantically checked for marks on this version of the shirt to differentiate it from the one i have. luckily the inner collar area is noticeably different.)
(this is how we formulate identity for ourselves in 2022. making sure our mass produced sweatshop shirts are sufficiently interesting.)
