yeso almost all plants will go through a stress period when repotted, or moved from a pot to the ground, etc. it’ll adjust and be happier pretty soon!
I hike around though I’m not like “into” it. Just like to go out with the partner and the dog and look at stuff. I don’t think I’d enjoy it as much without the dog, he loves being off leash and hanging out. He’s good on trails and doesn’t chase after stuff, he just sticks with us and sniffs things. Last time we saw a bunch of “manroot” which is a vining plant with a cucumber-like gourd that is inedible by humans (people use it as a loofa-like thing though), and a big as heck celeriac-like root.

There were notes at the start of the trail to look out for them, not eat them, not cut them, because they’re native and inedible and need to be left to thrive, so we just took that as an advisory to go on a little hunt for them, and saw a bunch!
