Southeastpaw robinhoodie that’s it! I didn’t find this game until a few years ago but I’m so lucky I did. The puzzles are just the right amount of difficult and it’s a great turn on the sokoban genre! You’re up!
robinhoodie Southeastpaw I love the first half of the game where the puzzles are doable, but oh man, once they get difficult… Here’s my entry with the playable character cut out
robinhoodie Gonna bump the thread with another screen shot and the hint that I played this game on a Nintendo system that was not the Switch
robinhoodie It is Never Alone! I just played this in the last month and was surprised I had never heard of it. Probably my favorite version of the puzzle platformer that I have played. You’re up.
Video Game King This one might be on the easy side, too, especially considering I’ve already done something similar to this, but in a What’s That Game thread, you never know.
fridgeboy Southeastpaw Aw man a fully AR Carmen Sandiego game would be pretty awesome. (this is making me wonder if this might be Where on Google Earth is Carmen Sandiego, a game I just learned about by googling if there was an AR Carmen Sandiego game. If that’s correct, the prize should go to @Southeastpaw)
Video Game King Southeastpaw It is not Carmen Sandiego. kory Obscure Japanese game? Yes. Light gun? No.
Southeastpaw fridgeboy That’s a brilliant game idea and one that would actually get me into an AR game! It could tell you cool things about the places you are living or visiting
kory For some reason the bullet-like silhouettes on the top of the screen make me think this is some kind of obscure Japanese light gun game
Video Game King blinkyg The pedometer reference makes me 99% certain you have got it, but I think you forgot to include the name.
blinkyg Video Game King I had to hunt for the game (like BMD before this), so I don’t count it as a win. However, I didn’t use reverse image search!

Video Game King blinkyg That is indeed it. If I remember correctly, Ohenro-san was made for older pilgrims who may not be able to make the approximately 750 mile journey themselves. It came bundled with a step pad to physically simulate the pilgrimage experience, but unfortunately didn’t have enough space to depict all 88 sites (it stops somewhere after 20).
