adamazing I’ve actually sat down three times trying to write a lengthy post about Vanishing Point in the car games thread, just to delete it. So it’s still fresh in my brain (and why I caught it). Its big claim to fame, or at least a big point PR tried to push on game press at the time, was that the player never sees any assets pop up in the game’s draw distance. The environment design goes a bit extreme in its quest to block the draw distance from the player (I believe that’s why it’s named “Vanishing Point”). :P
Fun game, and yeah! The skeleton X-Ray loading screens are cool.
