Syzygy I spent a while scanning through Freem (a site I wasn’t previously aware of, but now plan on spending some more time with having seen what I’ve seen). I did my best to infer the genre and systematically investigated the RPG, dungeon, 3D action, and action categories. Nothing seemed to quite match so I cast my net wider with the “Freegames for Global(PC)” category, though I made sure to pay attention to the release dates, zeroing in on around 2007 as you suggested. This seemed to place this game among the oldest ones on the service, so I just changed the last few digits of the “/page-XX” url of the free PC games category sorted by newest until I found the last one (there are 33 pages for those interested, lucky guess on the first try). Working backward from there, I was elated to see a game on page 32 with the same meter across the bottom of the screen. Were this somewhat distinctive UI element not present, I doubt I would have ever succeeded–I can now say, from experience, that generic rock texture is exceedingly popular among obscure independently developed 3D games!
I’m curious, does this game hold special significance? Is it worth a try?
I have a game in mind for the next round, will try and grab some screens tonite.
