Thought provoking ep!
I rarely buy a game more than once but I have gone through a couple copies of MGS2. I think I’m likely to end up with 3 copies of Final Fantasy 6. I’ve definitely bought friends games like the Witcher 3 on steam when they are on sale for 10 dollars and I know they haven’t played them. Just play em!
My big bro who is 5 years older than me decided that looking at guides was cheating and that a real dude should not cheat until he’s already beaten the game. This was back in like 1997, and it stuck with me for awhile. He’s a good older bro but it’s funny how that happens. It probably started because I called him at a friends house because I needed a final clue to beat Full Throttle. He was mad. I felt bad that I needed hints. Eventually I beat tough games without looking things up. Now I look up something if its causing me distress for more than 20 minutes. Doesn’t happen too often.
Candybox 2 fulfills my wish of having insane amounts of candy and magic powers while also being a goofball.
I’m guessing the Golden Age o’ Konami is 1995 to 1998. Because that’s when Suikoden 1 and 2 came out.
Me and my partner tried to watching Moulin Rouge again and we turned it off after 20 minutes. It was a lot worse than I remember. That said I did thoroughly enjoy watching The Get Down when it came out and ignoring Stranger Things.
