Honestly the bugs have not been that bad for me. Framerate drops on animations and pop in sure but those have been more funny than anything else. I haven’t run into anything game breaking or anything that ruined my enjoyment of the game.
And holy hell what a game. The writing is leagues better than it usually is. The new Team Star is actually compelling, the characters are all memorable, and the ending honestly surprised me. Nothing earth shattering obviously, but very good by the series’ standards. I also think against all odds they nailed the open world aspect. I’m having a……good time(?(!)) traversing the landscape and jumping around on my pokemon horse/motorcycle/hang glider. And game play wise it stays pretty close to Sword and Shield, a game I dumped over 200 hours of my life into, but with a better battle gimmick and some much needed quality of life features (thank god for quick heal).
All in all it feels like they took the best parts of Arceus and Sword and put them in a blender and got a buggy non-performant mess, but a delicious one all the same. Gets a 7/10 from me and I look forward to spending a few hundred hours in the post game.
I do really hope I can wear something other than a uniform once the DLC drops through
