this thread is a bit baffling to me. Once I determine I should put it on, I wear my baseball cap anywhere and everywhere until it bothers me (except for the dinner table). When it’s cold out, I leave my knit hat on until my head is not cold, or it irritates my scalp. I never even consider for a moment anything else other than dining tables or professional work meetings if I should remove my hat. Also I wash my hats often so they ain’t gross. Sure not wearing a hat is probably more comfortable, but who has the brain power to think about the hat once it’s on? But sure, if I was wearing a big floppy hat I’d probably take it off so it wasn’t knocking into the wall behind the toilet.
I might have to start a podcast and devote an episode to hats.
