I spent the two weeks playing a lot of gameboy next to the fire and taking showers at the neighbour’s house because they had a generator.
We had a backyard that sloped down to the meet the hedge, and I remember on the first day everything froze over the sheet ice in the back was sturdy enough to stand on, so I took a crazy carpet and rode it straight into the glassy wall of our frozen cedar hedge. It probably hurt a lot but it was worth it. My friend Braeden wasn’t impressed at all!!
