Wow the list of games I bought but have not played yet is very depressingly long this year. I am not even including quasi-straight ports and faithful remasters like Wizorb or Klonoa. I’ll try to strike down a few in the remaining weeks…

Elden Ring
Ultra Kaijū Monster Farm
★★★Stuff from 2022 I liked:
Card Shark
Immortality
(French Canadian accent) Kirby et le Monde Oublié
Live A Live

Tactics Ogre Reborn

★★Stuff from 2022 I am disappointed by for some possibly very specific or nitpicky reason but sure you should try them for yourself why not they’re not bad games:
Dorf Romantik
Xenoblade 3
★Stuff from 2022 I, sure, whatever, forgot they came out this year quite frankly:
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon
Samurai Warriors 5
☆Stuff from 2022 I am physically angry about:
<this free space is probably for Dragon Quest X Offline down the road>
I should try to get my hands on Sifu, the cat game and The Case of the Golden Idol, as well. I played Shin-chan last year, suckers!
I usually pick my GOTY based on the strongest impression I felt that year. For now, nothing has beaten the experience of taking the elevator and going “down below” for the first time in Elden Ring.
