This is also why chulip is awesome, because of the sweet little animation where you hop out of your school shoes upon entering your home!!
You all already know this but I’m itching to say it: I think shoes are a perfect example of the idea that video games are best enjoyed with a childlike imagination, especially with RPGs where you hop into bed a lot. Even in 3D games though: when a character goes to bed fully clothed, you should close your eyes and imagine them all comfy-womfy, skivvied down, and crawling into their bed.
