That was a fun episode!
I imagined Jaffe was recording it under a hot blanket in Florida again for 2 and a half hours.
I was feeling hyped for Elden Ring but also, I usually don’t get these things right away and wait til they go on sale. However, it was like a day or two into release and I was watching the forum’s very own dicegame playing it. And he got the horse and started running around and jumping. And then he double jumped and I immediately turned off the stream and bought it before I saw anymore spoilers because that was too cool. I wonder how many other people besides Frank and myself were got that way?
I find the concept of “wholesome” games kind of heinous. I love playing some of the wholesome games! And am a huge fan of nonviolent games and we need more of ’em like tim says. I also don’t even mind a player describing a game as wholesome to someone. But there’s something extra weird about the marketing of the game or genre being “wholesome.” Like are they trying to avoid all conflict? A quick search actually says ‘no’ they aren’t but that’s definitely the vibe I get. I’m not sure I can even really pin it! Help me out here!
