Talking about paying less for things that cost more now is a tenuous segue but I’m taking it: I keep thinking about how I used this old FB group called BUNZ which was a “no cash trades only” barter group in Montreal and someone posted a vintage woolrich work shirt and Charlotte hornets jacket for gba games so I offered all of my gba games (which I had gotten cheap at the time) (except tactics ogre, I kept that) because I was like eh I can emulate em and I’m broke and I need clothes and they’re nice
Fast forward 10ish years I know how much more those carts are worth now (there were a couple Pokemon I think? And a carrying case. And I think an entire gba! The royal blue one!!!) , but maybe the jacket and work shirt are worth more now too?, but they never really fit me (I got long arms) and I just wish I could redo the barter to get longer arms on some clothes. And I don’t know how to trade clothes! I’m an end user for clothes! Anyway that’s the little memory hike I went on while listening
Also now that I don’t have a gba carrying case I have no idea where that single lonely copy of tactics ogre is and I have spent hours looking so I might as well have traded it 😡
If I was right abt one thing tho, I can definitely emulate em all, fpga rules
