Nintendo’s WIP console emulators for Nintendo Switch have leaked
they are making extensive use of fan projects from the same homebrew scene they treat very poorly in general:
- using third party flash carts (you’d think they could make use of their own first party flash carts, back in the day they certainly did lol)
- using artemio’s 160p test suite, for anyone who is familiar with this software and the scene surrounding it, this is very ironic. it is free to use, however. so perhaps this means a better product for consumers… LOL
- I’m very glad this leaked, if you can smell the bias on me in this post, sorry
just goes to show that emulation has never been a black & white issue like nintendo lawyers spin it, and these days work from the people is far more important that whatever corporate BS nintendo produces themselves.
