yeah, I think for me it’s almost a point of pride… or something!? I’m not sure what to call it. Because:

1) the game isn’t out
2) the vinyl release is from Ghost Ramp
3) we finished a Gunsport vinyl OST with art and masters and everything, planned for release with Ghost Ramp
4) in the time it took Gunsport to come out, Ghost Ramp decided not to do game releases anymore

So somehow buying the vinyl release of an unreleased game from the company that didn’t publish our unreleased soundtrack from our released game brings it full circle for me!? I’m not sure this makes sense but those are all the moving parts of this decision.

Sooooo I’ve got this Neon Genesis Platinum Complete DVD set which I recently found out is kinda coveted these days for dub reasons? I bought it years and years ago and hardly watched it so it’s in really good condition. I was gonna maybe put it up on ebay but if anyone here is interested I’ll make a deal.

Even though it was the first game not directed by Takahashi, and I refuse to play anything but the first two games +2003 demo on original PS2 hardware, I think Me & My Katamari was great for many reasons. It was the first and last “new” Katamari game I played on release. Things got tiresome quickly after that, but I think the portable outing had merit back in the day.

At that point I was eating up anything Katamari I could find so I devoured Me & My Katamari. At the time I liked it a ton, even though the controls were strange on the PSP. I guess it was still close enough to the first two real games that they kind of drafted off of them to make something that more closely captured the spirit. And then beyond that they just had to keep coming up with dumb ideas to keep the franchise going. Did anyone else play I Love Katamari on iOS? What a nightmare that game was. It hasn’t been available for a while now.

sabertoothalex Me & My Katamari also immortalized the 2D belt scroll platformer version of Katamari Damacy flash game, and the 8bit overhead version from the official web site. Remember how amazing the official Katamari web site was?
