good day for racecar fans!
Monaco GP: was mostly boring until the rain came in and everyone scrambled to find the best time to put on wet tires. it did barely anything to change the order tho, but that confusion in the middle was entertaining. very happy for esteban “estebestie” ocon’s 3rd place!
Indy 500: the greatest spectacle in racing delivers again, the strategies playing out in the middle of the race made for great viewing. the yellow flags had me in doubt on who would win until the very end. i’m not gonna talk about the last restart much other than the fact i think the race should have ended under yellow and this obsession with green flag finishes will bite back one day. josef newgarden finally got his overdue face in the borg warner trophy!
Coca-Cola 600: lmao it’s raining, nascars can’t drive in the rain
and come june we’ll have the 24h of Le Mans and 24h of Spa-Francorchamps after that, we are eating good next month
