They’re pretty cool actually (if decidedly post-Bandai): the pixels are individual little Lite-Brite LED bulbs. Common in east coast arcades the past few years.
There’s a Largest Galaga as well that optionally comes with a huge turret. I can’t seem to find pictures of this so maybe I need to organize my boardwalk photos.
