The music reminds me of Bomberman 64, the primitive 3D visuals are very nostalgic. It all works really well together. Digging into the musician behind it, he does actually have some albums up on Spotify, including some new ones!

According to the source himself, there is no extended version of that song, only the length made for that opening. So I guess there you have it, then.

Anyone here into drawing? I picked it up as a hobby over the course of the last few weeks/months. I’ve always really admired the skill and wanted to challenge myself to do it. I have no interest in or expectation of making “good” art (whatever that means), but just to improve and make things I like. I was thinking of starting a thread about all this for folks to share but this seemed like a cool place to share some of the resources I used to start practicing. I’ll say I was not overly dedicated to either of these ‘programs’ or whatever you might call them, but I did find them helpful and fun.

The first is a free website called drawabox.com, which is all about developing the technical aspects of drawing. The second is a book series called “How to Think When You Draw” by the Etherington Brothers. These books are a kickstarter thing and I’m honestly not 100% sure how you actually buy them. My spouse picked them up. But as the name suggests, they’re more focused on the conceptual aspects of drawing.

@fridgeboy I am an artist and am currently drawing the insert credit fellas as sonic characters. I’m going to be coloring my sketches soon. Stay tuned 😈. I’m also fascinated by those books! They seem super fun and Im into anything that can share the wonders of making art to people.

SuperEffective they are really fun and although they clearly have their own cartoonish style, the advice and tips they have are universally helpful for any style of drawing. I didn’t even realize that the website I linked has tons and tons of stuff for free if folks aren’t up for buying the books. I look forward to seeing your art! Maybe someday I’ll be brave enough to share my very unprofessional art attempts!
