Well I think I’m at about 200 hours now. I played and finished the game as a Prisoner (his name is Blib Brendaniels), who ended up just being a tanky mage with a shield. I did basically every single thing. Got Age of the Stars ending.
Have a new character now (his name is Bobby Dingman) who started out life as a Bandit. Now he is a blood hungry freak who has too much arcane power for one man alone. Pretty close to the end with this one.
I am a Bloodborne fanatic, a Sekiro lover, and a Dark Souls… sortamostlyliker. I think this game wins. I’m ready to put it in number one spot.
For those who are talking about repetition of environments and bosses, let me share my experience that sort of lets From Soft off the hook. My second play through has been a lot less thorough. As such I have entered far less catacombs and caves, because well, I know what is in those caves and I figure I don’t need X item. I have been playing as a particular kind of character who needs particular equipment and skills. This is still a soulslike game, it is designed to be played multiple times despite being open world. I don’t think we, as players, are meant to explore every single inch of the world.
That said, it would have been pretty cool if they didn’t re-use at least some of the big bosses, but I can forgive them.
