goonbag I absolutely loved it, felt like it was over too soon even with the bonus chapter included at the end. In particular, I love the moody atmosphere, which is thanks in no small part to Aubrey Hodges excellent ambient score. The lighting and unique prerendered graphics give it a slightly different overall feel than the original, which I prefer. The level design is also great (and unique to this game—these are not just the doom/doom II maps) and I felt like there was less aimless wandering in search of keys compared to the other games. For some reason this was just the perfect early pandemic catharsis for me, highly recommended.
I can’t really speak for the experience of playing mobile (I only played docked), but I’m sure it’s worth it. I also have to give credit to the excellent porting/modernization job done by Nightdive Studios on this.
