In general, sure, I am with you. M2 is probably not able to commit to the same standards as before when they were much smaller and could focus on fewer projects and very specific titles.
But in this specific case, who am I supposed to trust more than M2 regarding Fantasy Zone? Who knows more about the intricate issues of Model 1 emulation after Sega Ages Virtua Racing?
My bigger worry is that I am at least confident M2 gives a shit. The end result is probably down to how much budget and time they are given, and (in relation to the former) who in their team is available. Here, we are in the unknown. I’d say the risk things go wrong is increased.
