Hi everyone. I’m Stephanie(she/her). Started listening to the show when Jeff Gerstmann was a guest about a year ago. While out walking today listening to a random old episode I thought, wait, why don’t I check out the forum and support the patreon? So I did and here I am. I play a healthy mix of old stuff and current, at any given time I may be playing the latest AAA open world title OR Spider-Man/X-Men Arcade’s Revenge.

Hello all,
My name is Coy (he/him) and I have joined the Insert Credit forums through the podcast. Though I will always be upset that some members don’t show themselves enough kindness, I always have appreciated their conversations and the sense of comfort that has given me.

My intent is to find a way to engage with the hobby of videogames in a healthier and more fulfilling way. I want to explore new spaces of creativity and to join a dialogue on games.

I hope that eventually I can give something back to the people who will engage with me, as their time is a gift.

I’m Chris!

I’m part of the O3C Podcast (o3c.games), and have come to know Insert Credit incredibly late, despite knowing the work of Tim, Frank and Brandon separately in some capacity for a decent chunk of time.

I collect games, Switch mainly, but am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to other platforms too. I like buying soundtracks on vinyl because I’m ‘hip’, and in my day job I teach art and music at a special needs school in the miserable island that is the UK.

I like weird games more than I do good games, which seems to be the MO of fair few of you here!

i have been lurking here for a few weeks i guess and sometimes i think about posting but think better of it. i like to listen to your podcast. i’ve forgotten how i found it, but i’m glad i did. around 2001 or so i decided that i would be music/alt guy instead of games guy and now i regret that decision so i am coming full circle on being games guy again and catching up year by year with myself, and the people on this podcast and this forum really seem to lean into that. i probably spend more time strategizing with how to play said games than actually playing the games and that’s fine. i also believe in forums/internet this way, it’s more charming.

Hey everyone, my name’s frenzy and I found this place about a year or two ago, can’t remember exactly when. I randomly had the thought to come look around again and decided I should sign up, because you all seem to love video games as much as I do.

When I’m not busy with college I try to play whatever games I can, currently I’ve been on a drakengard/nier binge alongside a xenogears xenosaga and xenoblade one, since I always found them interesting but never really played any of them, so far having a lot of fun. There’s a lot of games that I haven’t played yet and I’ve been trying to expand my horizons as far as I can, so I hope we can all have fun discussing or recommending games together!

Hello All! I’ve been an insert credit lurker since the old days. In fact, in episode 85 my partner wrote in to the show to tell them that I’m a fan and that I like Dark Souls 2. Our panel proceeded to give me suggestions on games to play other than Dark Souls 2. @exodus I still haven’t played 868-Hack but your other recommendations were taken!

I finally joined the forum to ask for help with getting raspberry pi to output to composite correctly. Big shout to @robinhoodie for the support.

hello people! I found out about the podcast early in the pandemic and got hooked! Then I found out there’s a forum, even better! Big love for retro games and like having my mind blown with all the recommendations of things I hadn’t seen before. I’ve been a musician for a long time, also into programming and design work, and currently throwing all that together as a game dev working on a Rez-like musical rail shooter.
Have been on various forums for years but haven’t been much of a poster in recent times, hope to change that :)
