Hi there! My name’s August (He/Him), though I go by “PoggieB” on basically everything.
Like a lot of people here, I discovered Insert Credit from Action Button. I started listening to the podcast late last year, made my account on this forum a few months later, then waited a couple MORE months to actually post, just for good nervous measure.
I’ve been an artist, animator, and video game enjoyer for as long as I can remember, and because of that whole covid thing making job-finding basically impossible in my area, I took a plunge and tried making my living by streaming those two hobbies on twitch. After over a year of surviving, getting experience, and building community through that, I landed a stable gig in streaming and content-creating for a local game developer, so that’s kinda rad!
(also not an ad, but OneShot Golf is actually really fun and I really like working at the studio)
I usually go weeks without reading this forum, then spending an entire evening mass-consuming threads (the way forums were definitely intended, probably), but I would like to start visiting and contributing to the good vibes and be here more frequently, so I figured I’d finally post and get the ball rolling!
