Hello everynyan! How are you? Fine thankyou. I’m fresh off the last episode and just went to check out the forums to see what people thought of ThorHighHeels’ appearance on the podcast and after noticing that apparently there’s a monthly game club now I figured it was time make an account. I’ve had the idea to organize a similar monthly game club for a very long time but I could never find the willpower nor the people to do it, so I think I’ll join this one instead!
A long time ago I accidentally started learning how to structure and interpret computer programs so now I do that both for a living and sometimes for fun, too. I made a pair of very dumb games for some jams but unfortunately it’s not my main thing at the moment.
Some more information to better fingerprint me: I live in the land of Pasta, Pizza, and Mario. I listen to denpa, shoegaze, techno, and many other things in between. I’m in my late 20s. I like slices of life in anime and manga form. My favorite videogame is Thief 2: The Metal Age, not necessarily because it’s strictly true but because that’s how I choose to answer the question, “what’s your favorite videogame?” (I think I like Thief Gold better.) I sing in a couple choirs. I like strongly typed impure functional programming languages, mountain hiking, wearing tacky clothes with anime girls on them, and driving while singing along to the music very loudly.
