Loooong time reader since I found insertcredit.com in 2002. Always been a fan of the essays, especially Tim’s (I used to read his Live Journal too).
A few years ago I was playing Sine Mora, saw the credits and thought “hey, I remember that Sheffield guy”. Ended up following Brandon and Tim on Twitter. These days I’m also listening to the podcast, and it’s become my favorite.
As for myself, I’ve been a gamer since the 2600 era. I have a Switch but end up playing the 16-bit era games the most. I have quite a collection of SNES games, even owning a MiSTER. You know, nostalgia. I may be the only person who actually loves the SNES port of Fatal Fury and I blame nostalgia too.
Twitter has been quite a toxic place, and I hate other social media, so here I am, trying to find a place with some positivity.
