He did frog fractions of course, but he also programmed (and helped with design of) necrosoft’s first game, Gunhouse:
We spent a lot of time in oakland coffee shops (primarily chinatown, west oakland, jack london), worked on this game for way too long, and generally had an okay experience I think, except I didn’t pay him enough! But later he got a bunch of royalties which I think made up for it. He also used to come sporadically to our east bay game dev meetups sometimes but didn’t really like that they were always in bars, which I understand.
to conclude: I’ve known jim for a while which probably helped!
