I just watched Ep 2, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think Ep 1 was a good pilot, and had me thinking “yeah this is interesting and I’ll check it out again” while Ep 2 now has me at “this is a thing I will make sure to follow”. So you’re doing something right!
fridgeboy So I need some advice: I’m thinking for episode 3 about getting to the point by using Anor Londo to talk about Agency, Structure, Power, and Epistemology.
I say go for it. I think the value and enjoyment for me here, personally, is largely centered around the academic aspect rather than watching you do a “proper” Let’s Play while talking about interesting things. If there is a section of the game and/or world that is a fit for whichever topic you want to cover, then I think you should go there and do that. There are more than enough “watch me play through Dark Souls!” videos out there already, but there certainly are not enough “allow me to present interesting scientific topics, using games as a touch point and anchor” ones.
