whatsarobot reminds me of my old creative zen stone+, 4gb of mostly pink floyd to listen to at school age 14-16!
whatsarobot I had this one (NW-HD3).
It is one of the most solid, well-made pieces of electronics I have ever owned. I still have it somewhere and it still works. The software is awful, but this is a hardware thread.
billy and they made a red one!
hellomrkearns almost came here to post this, but I figured you would have already! Night Tempo has such a fantastic collection.
I had this one in university, but in red. Can’t find a good picture of it.
hellomrkearns that toblerone design reminds me of Neil Young and his Pono player
hellomrkearns also reminds me of this old MP3 player I had (in red!) that also opened to reveal a usb connector. Such great simple design…still have it around here somewhere.
My SMB 25th Anniversary Wii, pictured with included Wiimote and perfectly-matching USB hard drive I got for uhhh homebrew.
If you post one more red item I’m gonna die
kory doesn’t count
treefroggy I’m glad you’re still with us!
With apologies to @treefroggy
Very classy (and just a hint of red)
I wish this Sharp made SNES/TV combo went just a little harder on some weird aesthetics because it’s such a cool concept! The box is just a tad boring imo.
All my experience of boxes like that is at hotels, set up with a mechanism to charge you by the hour (or minute, lol)
Syzygy first time I played BLACKTHORNE was on one of those. And I got less time than I would have wanted. My mind was blown. I became obsessed and didn’t find it until much later.
LODGENET
sabertoothalex wowww i didn’t know there was a LodgeNet GameCube. I remember having a blast playing through Pokémon Snap with my sister on one of the N64 models
