milo without a doubt Master System’s design was inspired by Walkman, as was the Mega Drive!
i really like the look of the ps4 slim but have never owned one. really do not prefer the look of the ps5. the wing things look superfluous and like they were glued on to me
/rant!!
still love the ps2’s look
Some sharp lookin’ Famicom hardware to join the red party
kory Yeahh came here to post that.
hellomrkearns peak hardware design, might as well close out the thread
The first-gen DS isn’t as comfortable to play as any of the later revisions and its screens aren’t particularly good by modern standards, but man it looks cool. Especially in red.
billy I hella disagree Billy The shoulder buttons are comfy and the general thiccness makes it the most comfy. And for playing GBA games the screen is wonderful. It’s just… kinda ugly. I like playing Metroid Fusion on it.
treefroggy I’m not a fan of the super-clicky, low-travel buttons and d-pad. I do agree on the general chunk though.
The best of both worlds?
I think the protoype design for the Nomad they showed off at Sega school is waaaaay better than the final product. Looks more comfy to hold and is much sleeker. Almost looks like a classier Game Gear.
Nord is a high end keyboard company and I think all of their keyboards have this red and black look
Changing it up a bit
hellomrkearns I want that keyboard right now

Oh yeah, I’m a big advocate of hardware with handles.
How about a boom box with a Mega CD in it? You get a handle, and a radio tuner, and a tape deck!
hardware design thread? more like, everyone just post shit that is the color red
treefroggy
OK.
presenting the most comfortable controller (looks pretty sharp too)
captain 100% agree with this.
Looks nice in red too.
