Hope you are all doing well. I’ve been posting here for a few months now and I’m happy to announce that my 11th(!) Essay is finished. It’s about Persona and it’s PS1 and PSP versions. It’s about getting food poisoning from bisque. It’s about getting funding for my anime club in highschool because I actually showed Vampire Hunter D to my teacher. It’s about facing your demons.

I actually got to ask former Atlus USA developer Gail Salamanca a couple questions about the cancelled Devil Summoner localization on the Sega Saturn. Turns out you can just find people on twitter, DM them, and call it an interview.

This got called back in another thread and I just want to say it’s interesting watching somebody go through the process of weirdo Japanese game liking a decade or two down the line from me or my generation - it’s pretty fun to see how that happens in a post internet - and post insert credit world.
