Activision/Blizzard Dumpsterfire

I've been waiting for a sufficiently large peice of news to kick this thread off, so that it would spare me from summarizing the entire sordid history of the company. And today ["The FTC is suing Microsoft to block its Activision Blizzard purchase."](https://www.theverge.com/2022/12/8/23498224/ftc-microsoft-activision-blizzard-legal-challenge-sues-block)

This thread is for chronicling the lurid insanity that has been (and will be) taking place at Activision/Blizzard. From Crosby-suites to their [military connections](https://forums.insertcredit.com/d/1045-videogames-and-the-military-a-love-story/83).

I predict there will be plenty of ongoing news to update this thread with going forward. But we should also be willing to take a look back if anyone want to recall a particularly mentionable event.

What excellent timing
