did the spin the globe thing and here you go
Looks awesome
Would love to see @Hunter eating a meal alone in this cavernous restaurant
Walking across the isolated promenade back to his flat as the first chill of winter sweeps down the Pamirs (itās the second week of May)
Imagine getting to live in a series of socialist realism painting from a tourism brochure that didnāt make it into public distribution because the Soviet Union collapsed the day before it was going to go to the printshopā¦ youāre so lucky @Hunter , deep down I think I too have always wanted to live in an Oblast
Trying to understand how one dines at those tables. Do you sit cross-legged on the cushions around the edge? If so, awesome.
If you want to make it you gotta live in Hollywood, baby!
Honestly you would have a ton of fun in West Hollywood. I lived there for a bit and itās expensive but so worth it to be in the middle of everything. Hollywood-Hollywood, Franklin Village, East Hollywood, and even North Hollywood in the valley North Hollywood are also full of young people and fun stuff to do, though you go too far into the valley and youāre in suburbia. If youāre single and working in showbusiness (or even just want to hang out with people who are), Hollywood itās a great place to be. Great nightlife, gyms, parks, restaurants, shopping, and most of all people. People clown on the transplants who move to LA for being vapid or pretentious or fake, and there is that element, but honestly they are the salt of the earth.
Koreatown, Echo Park, Highland Park, Silver Lake (if you can swing it) are also good places to move that give you a different feeling of LA. Itās kind of more like Brooklyn, more of a local/hipster vibe. But still easy to get everywhere. On the West side, the area around Sawtelle/Little Osaka is cool. I would love to live by the beaches, but probably not doable for most unless you can find a rich personās guest house or something.
Also try to live near where you work, because traffic sucks. Central LA is kind of nice because youāre less reliant on the highways, and if you hit rush hour traffic you can just stop and hang out somewhere.
Or Oblast, all the gays are all setting up yurts in the Tajik steppe this summer.
Where Should Hunter Move?
- Los Angeles
- Kulyabskaya Oblast
I heard they were moving E3 to Oblast anyway
S3(R) baby letās fucking go
Itās actually very easy to get to Kulyabskaya Oblast from LA. Simply walk into any airport, tell security that you closed your Twitter account and have decided against buying a Tesla, and crucially that you recently moved to the USA from Kulyabskaya Oblast. You will receive a free flight there that very day.

Well to mix up the discussion on places, I will say Victoria absolutely rules as long as you donāt mind living in a city that literally competes with the top 3-5 most expensive cities in the world for cost of living. Great place though and quite possibly one of the most left leaning places on the continent which is big bonus to me.
Ferries are cool at first but theyāre also just kind of a pain in the ass.
Oh but to just live on a little islandā¦ thatād be the dreamā¦ I wish I was one of those little Salish Wool Dogs who lived on a special island away from the riff raff, and got fed white fish stew to keep my coat shiny and softā¦
what are the good Synergy kombuchas? Did not much care for the elderberry and at $4 I canāt afford to make these kinds of mistakes
I like Trilogy, Gingerade, and Raspberry Chia.
i need yāall to rank the selection of fruit presented in the following link
https://tiermaker.com/create/ultimate-fruit-tier-list---labeled-183857
The Gaagaagiins Ultimate Fruit Tier List:
I also ordered the tiers internally, so the earlier in the order something is the closer it is to the tier above.
I havenāt eaten a lot of the more exotic/tropical fruit, not necessarily because I havenāt had the opportunity but I really would only have the opportunity to eat a lot of that fruit out of season or if theyāre just really bad, not sweet, near flavourless. Iāve also had some things, like, used in cooking, or dried but thatās different from eating the fruit itself (hence why Raisins are a separate entry). So like I donāt think Iāve tried passionfruit just because Iāve had passionfruit juice or something.
A lot of these rankings are assuming, like, ideal specimens, in-season, ripe, all that, which when you live in a colder climate is a rare treat. I go back and forth on some fruits I donāt like because I just never feel sure Iāve ever had a good kiwi or a good watermelon, and Iād be happy to be proven wrong about them, but until I take a bite of watermelon and be like āso thatās what all the fuss is aboutā Iāll continue to usually avoid them.
I once took a miracle fruit lozenge, which is supposed to make sour tastes turn into sweet tastes because of a weird compound. I was also at a local metal/punk show. I waited a bit for the lozenge to coat my mouth and then took a big bite of grapefruit. It was so bitter and disgusting that I ran out of the venue to spit it out into the gutter in the street. That being said, Squirt and Grapefruit Jarritos are actually god tier pop. So who knows whatās the truth about grapefruit.
Fellow green apples over red apples enjoyer
I didnāt bother ordering within the tiers. This is so hard because some of them are such good flavors in baking etc but not really something I enjoy eating on their own
@hunter Depending on your stamina for soul rending traffic, yea, this should factor pretty heavily in your decision. Tradegoodās spot on re east side neighborhoods (Highland Park, Echo Park, Silver Lake, Eagle Rock), most people I know are around those areas or East Hollywood.
Just a giant grain of salt about the state of things out here rn, rent spiked post-fire (and the city is buried in debt from it) and the entertainment industry is still in a major contraction. BUUUUT, similar to NY its always going to be expensive, and thereās millions of people making it work.
Happy to answer any specific questions if you want to dm.
A or higher is āSomething Iād eat every week if I could.ā
B or higher is āI would eat this of my own volition sometimes.ā
C tier is āI wouldnāt ever pick it out, but occasionally Iāll have it.ā
D is the No Go Zone.
Basically, I really like berries and avocado. Also dried fruit. I hate melons.
