Sometimes after a very long day, i will catchup on this thread and feel good again.
This was a neighborhood cat that met me on my patio.
Thank you for reminding me of this 
Having gone through the topic as part of the spring cleaning, and realising that it’s almost been a year since we lost our cat, here’s to all those wonderful little furry friends.

Was relaxing on the couch a good 5 minutes typing out a reply to another thread before I noticed that there was a cat on the couch next to me hiding under a blanket
We put anti-scratch pads all over my arm chair today. Mars just came over to scratch the hell out of it, put his claws against the plastic, whimpered, and then looked up at me with the saddest possible expression. The guy has two dedicated scratch posts, a tree with several scratch locations, and yet when we cover the armchair/sofa he acts like we’ve totally destroyed his entire life.
