Last winter I met a group of travelers with 2 Maine coons. Farley and their cat juniper came back this week. Farley has good taste in games. They’ve name dropped some pretty obscure ones that I hadn’t thought of much, like whatever that last rabbids game on Wii was that was like Katamari I guess? And a Gameboy Color RTS called Warlocked.

i can't have a cat where I live right now, but my neighbor has 5 cats and sometimes they hang out around a place where I can look at them from my window and i get really excited when that happens.
a friend of a friend of my wife found a box full of abandoned kittens, and now i have a new cat.

a maternal bobtail who bunny hops about, has more empathy than most animals i’ve known, and just follows me about with an occasional soft cry for attention, if that. she is a blessing
her sister elly is a horrible gray goblin who picks on her and basically does as she pleases, and if the tragedy of the commons is an actual thing it's likely her fault but i love her all the same
