I bought some stuff on there a couple of months ago and it’s better than it used to be! The interface has gotten a bit faster again, and if adding a payment card or wallet funds in a browser is too much of a pain, PayPal still works.
Funny/sweet story.
Me and my sister played Tekken 3 together and she would enjoy watching me beat each character’s story mode to see their little cutscene at the end.
For some reason, Gon’s cutscene would freeze. Every time. (It looks like he’s about to go on some adventure and it stops). Everything else in the game would work just fine.
I’ve always been curious as to what his little movie was, but I’ve never looked up a video to watch it because it feels wrong to view it without her without doing it the proper way.
So yes, it is all Gon’s fault.
The company I work for had an in-game collaboration for a character named Gon once. Due to licensing shenanigans, the content featuring the character was only available in one specific region. Was still shown in the world-wide promo art, though. Oops!
Different Gon, but still Gon’s fault.
Your video assemblages for each episode are a rad instructional resource and just overall really well made. Thank you for putting time and care into the work you do making this space rad!
No no no!
Can’t view!

Finding the Gon manga at the used book store after playing Tekken 3 a bunch was probably a top 5 most shocking moment of my life. There’s a whole comic book about that little dino from my video game…
Tekken 3 and Soul Edge were a very special pair of fighting game home console ports stuffed full of weird single player content
I haven’t listened to the whole episode yet but I had to get this out of me: we have an NBA Jam tournament edition cab (the 4 player one) at the barcade I work at and it is by decibel measurement the most fun game in the bar by a long shot from downtown. people just shriek in delight over that thing. they like it so much that they had to move it around the corner from the kitchen pass so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed while I’m trying to work lol
I pretty much exclusively wait for the video version since I saw my first one a couple months ago. I appreciate the extra attention given to it, Esper, great work!
Thank you very much for mentioning this. I skipped RB4 when the intstruments were briefly available—“all my Xbox instruments still work,” I said before they broke, and I am now seriously considering getting one or two of these.
By the way, anyone else interested in going along with the show and play Knuckles Chaotix with their partner? Sounds like a fun idea. Could do it as a special edition of the game club or something.
