The mascots are living creatures. They were born from the Earth at the beginning of time. Coexisting with humans isn’t great as they are mostly seen as entertainment. Part of your job as an agency manager is to help them break the chains of expectations and chase their dreams. One mascot wants to build a surf shack, another wants to help convenience store workers unionise, and another is an ex-bike gang member who has become a priest to atone for his past crimes.

yesterday was the 1.0 release of Shadows Of Doubt, a procedural detective game with an astounding amount systems at play (a consistent little neighborhood of citizens with their own homes, the ability to add anything you find to the evidence board, being able to question anyone about specific people, shoe and fingerprint scanner…). I gave it a whirl and I was a bit overwhelmed, but the potential is massive. the voxels, which I am not normally a fan of, give it a sort of uncanny quality that really matches the noir mood.

I’ve started to follow more blogs and zines lately since the demise and implossion of social media. I think we have a thread for that? if not i’ll create it soon.
Out of the top of my head i can strongly recommend:
