Slightly off topic but is there a reason why itois bass fishing hasnt been translated? Seems like it would be just based on having his name on there, but i havent heard many people talk about it.
(I submitted Shigesato Itoi's No.1 Bass Fishing for Super Famicom and wrote a whole thesis on why it is overlooked and why it deserves a translation)

I have to convince people by saying things like it is running on the same graphics tech as Kirby's Dream Land 3.
Only with the rise in popularity of things like Kawa no Nushi Tsuri and Sega Bass Fishing will people perhaps give it a second look. They also need to be slapped on the ass and told it's the closest thing you'll ever get to *Mother 4*. Stop trying to make mother 4 and translated Itoi's Bass Fishin' game! Itoi made five games. Two of them are still untranslated. C'mon. The Super Famicom bass fishing game is also a frickin RPG, even.
Eventually people will catch on.

You mean the tech that stores all the graphics as bitmaps as opposed to tilesets?
